Weima Kiron India Pvt Ltd, a JV between Weima Germany and Group Kiron, India, is offering state-of-the-art Solid Waste Handling Solutions. The Solutions include a complete Plant Lay-out. Equipment design, Supply, Manufacturing & System Integration. O & M, as well as service, is also part of the offerings to customers.

Weima Kiron has also partnered with Westeria Germany and Spaleck Germany to incorporate their specialised equipment for Segregation & Sorting into solutions being designed and offered.

Designation: Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales

No. of Vacancies: 3

Experience required: 5-8 yrs

Estimated Salary: 50k to 70k, depending on qualifications, experience, and ability to produce results.

Location: Mumbai

Target Market: Municipal Solid Waste Processors/ Boiler Manufacturers/ Power Plants/ Cement Industry/ Plastic Industry / Metal Industry.

Previous Experience Preferred: In Capital Equipment/ Mining/ Earthmoving/ Material Handling/ Cement Plant Machinery/ Plastic Processing Equipment Sales. But MOST importantly, fire in the belly, willing to learn & travel extensively, maintaining sharp focus will be a mandatory requirement.

Capability: Ability to sell technical solutions/quote sales of high-value equipment / build relationships with industry influencers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and areas for business expansion.
  • Evaluate and prioritise potential growth areas and segments for the company's solid waste handling solutions.
  • Set clear sales objectives and prepare guidelines to achieve them.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts regularly.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and technology partners.
  • Explore new business avenues, geographic expansions, or industry segments to grow the company's market presence.
  • Work closely with technical and engineering teams to integrate specialised equipment from partners as relevant to the opportunity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the business development function.
  • Implement best practices and initiatives to optimise sales processes and strategies.
  • Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to travel to be present with customers.
