Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Sales Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across key market segments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and distributors
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals effectively
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline data
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, supply chain, and marketing) to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
- Support product trials and ensure successful conversion to commercial sales
Qualifications & Skills- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the adhesives, chemicals, or related industry (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in lead generation, account management, and revenue growth strategies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and convert insights into actionable strategies
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA is an added advantage
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
