Taurus is a leading manufacturer and distributor of testing and measuring kits for state utilities, including transmission and distribution companies. We also specialize in providing electrical safety products to various industries, such as coal mines and private sectors. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales in the northern region. This role is vital in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets through B2B sales.

Job Description

TExperience: Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in the electrical industry or selling to state

utilities, coal mines, or private industries. Experience with testing and measuring equipment is a plus.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical safety, testing, and measuring equipment.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the industry.

Sales Skills: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and closing

deals. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Self

Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate a proactive approach to

sales. Self driven and results oriented mindset.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently within the northern region to meet customers and

attend events.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal team s, including customer support,

marketing, and product development, to drive sales success.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the northern region, aligning with the company's overall sales objectives.

Customer Outreach: Identify and approach potential customers, including state utilities (transmission and distribution companies), coal mines, and private industries, to promote and sell our testing and measuring kits and electrical safety products.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in target organizations to secure sales opportunities.

Product Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the benefits and features of our products, addressing customer needs and requirements.

Solution Selling: Understand customer challenges and propose appropriate product solutions to meet their specific needs, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of sales agreements with customers while adhering to company policies and profitability goals.

Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on a regular basis to the sales management team, ensuring visibility into sales pipeline and potential opportunities.

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer support team to address customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Travel: Undertake frequent travel within the northern region to meet customers, attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
