Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sales Engineer based in Chennai. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, conducting sales activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining effective communication.

Responsibilities

€¢ Preparation of Technical and Commercial Proposals for various Coal Mills & Spares RFQs.

€¢ Preparation and submission of Bids/Offers/Proposal.

€¢ Preparation of Technical & Commercial clarifications and Tender Deviations.

€¢ Communication with Customers and Attending Customer Meetings.

€¢ Estimations and Cost price calculations for Coal Mills, Spares, Coal Grinding Plants.

€¢ Client Meeting MOM preparations and circulation.

€¢ Attending Negotiation meetings for Price and Commercial Terms.

Requirements

At least 5/7 years of experience in Sales and Marketing related to Industry Projects (Preferably Blast Furnace Steel Industry, Coal Grinding Mills/Plants, Boiler & Boiler Auxiliaries). Sales experience in Commodity/FMCG Sales is not be considered.

Should have experience of Tender Bids making Proposals (Technical and Commercial Offers), Cost and Price Calculations and Price offers.

Should have basic understanding of Coal Grinding plants, Coal Mills, Pulverized Coal Injection, Process Fans, Process Bag Filters & Other equipment related to Coal Grinding plants/Steel Plants will be added advantage.

Should have exposures for attending customer meetings for Technical and Commercial Discussions, drafting of MOMs, Letter writing etc.
