Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design of complex RPA solutions using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Development and Implementation: Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots for high-volume processes, including exception handling, error recovery, and integration with APIs, databases, and legacy systems.
Process Optimization: Analyze business processes using BPMN or similar methodologies to identify automation opportunities, achieving ROI targets through performance metrics and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Mentoring: Guide cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and train staff on best practices in RPA governance, reusable components, and cognitive automation (e.g., integrating AI/ML with RPA).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units, IT teams, and vendors to translate requirements into technical specifications, manage project timelines, and resolve production issues.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement testing strategies (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure adherence to regulations like GDPR, SOX, or industry-specific standards; monitor bot performance and maintain documentation.
Innovation and Strategy: Stay abreast of emerging trends (e.g., hyperautomation, low-code RPA) and contribute to the RPA Center of Excellence, piloting advanced features like unattended automation or cloud-based deployments.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 8 years in IT/software development, with at least 6 years focused on RPA implementation across multiple domains (e.g., finance, manufacturing).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in 2+ RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Orchestrator, Automation Anywhere Bot Creator, Power Automation, VBA, Blue Prism Process Studio).
Strong programming knowledge in VB.NET, C#, Python, or Java for custom scripting and integrations.
Expertise in process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining) and orchestration tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines for RPA).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's or relevant certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional, Automation Anywhere Master RPA Architect) preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences, and proven project management experience (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI-enhanced RPA (e.g., integrating NLP or OCR via tools like ABBYY or Azure Cloud Vision).
Track record of delivering large-scale RPA programs with measurable business impact .
Certifications in Lean Six Sigma for process improvement.
