Responsibilities

Research, pitch, and develop original story ideas aligned with the publication's editorial goals

Conduct interviews with industry experts, stakeholders, and thought leaders

Write and edit clear, compelling, and accurate content across formatsnews articles, features, and Q&As

Fact-check information and ensure adherence to journalistic ethics and accuracy standards

Monitor industry trends and current events to deliver timely and relevant coverage

Collaborate with the editorial and design teams for visual storytelling and content planning

Meet daily/weekly deadlines with high editorial quality and minimal oversight

Represent the publication at press briefings, conferences, or media events when required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field

24 years of experience in reporting

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills

Strong news judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under pressure

Comfortable with multimedia content and digital publishing tools (CMS, SEO basics)

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

A curious mindset, ethical grounding, and passion for delivering impactful stories
