Role Description

The Senior Relationship Manager (Matchmaker) is a hybrid of a business development and client servicing position. You will responsible for onboarding new clients, conducting interviews and serve Relationship Owner throughout the tenure of their membership. Our clients are based all over the over the world, and tend to be from the premium, progressive segment of the global Indian community - not just bankers, doctors and lawyers, but think head teachers, tech founders and celebrities.

You will be responsible for driving business growth through collaborations and partnerships with other matchmakers, luxury brands, and other stakeholder management. The Senior Business Development Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan, conducting market research, and under taking special projects for the leadership team.

This is not a hybrid or remote position. Please only apply if you are currently based in Mumbai.

In the interest of time and transparency, and because we are awesome, we are sharing comp details for this position:

Expected Compensation:

Basic: INR 13-18 lakhs, depending on experience

One year guaranteed completion bonus: 10% of Basic

Variable: Uncapped, but approximately INR 4-8 lakhs, depending on performance.

Total Annual Comp: 25 lakhs ++

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and/or client servicing
  • *Excellent* communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral). Fluency in International English
  • Passion for being part of a people-oriented business, sales flow and marketing
  • Empathy and a burning desire to help people in their personal lives
  • Experience in luxury brand collaborations and partnerships
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Business, Marketing, or related field

Desirable

  • Social media savvy, with a strong following
  • Previous international experience (living, working, or studying)
  • Previous experience in Airlines, Private/Retail Banking, Executive Search or Hospitality industries
