Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build, manage, and deepen long-term relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals, family offices, or institutional investors.
  • Act as the single point of contact for equity-related needs, offering investment advice tailored to client goals and risk profiles.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and ensure consistent client engagement and satisfaction.

Equity Advisory & Sales:

  • Offer advisory and execution services in listed equities, IPOs, structured equity products, and equity derivatives.
  • Work closely with research, trading desks, and investment strategists to deliver value-added insights and trade ideas.
  • Drive equity revenue through proactive product pitching, cross-selling, and tactical trading strategies.

Market Intelligence:

  • Keep abreast of equity market trends, sector performance, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide clients with real-time market updates and timely investment ideas backed by strong fundamentals or technical triggers.

Compliance & Risk:

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of ethics, conduct, and professionalism in all client dealings.
  • Accurately document client interactions and investment decisions in line with internal audit and risk frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Collaborate with internal teams including product specialists, compliance, legal, and operations to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the broader equities business.

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in relationship management, equities advisory, or institutional equity sales, preferably with a private bank, wealth manager, or brokerage firm.
  • Proven track record of AUM growth, revenue generation, and client retention.
  • Strong expertise in equity markets, including global equities, Indian equities, ETFs, IPOs, equity-linked products, and derivatives.
  • Sound understanding of portfolio management, risk assessment, and client profiling.
  • Strong relationships with HNW/UHNW clients or institutional investors is highly desirable.
  • Certifications like NISM VA/VIII, CFP, CFA, or CMT will be advantageous.
