- The Reconciliations Analyst is a key role for our firm ensuring the integrity of the investment book of records against the custodian records by investigating and resolving holding discrepancies.

Daily the employee will use Clareti Transaction Control (CTC), Microsoft Office Suite, External Custodian Portals, external Japanese custodian and trust bank data including T-STAR and SYNTAX , and internal applications such as Portfolio Management System, Client Reporting Systems, Automated Cashflow Entry
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Reconcile internal book of records positions and transactions against custodian records on a daily basis.
- Conduct detailed analysis on discrepancies and work with internal / external teams to resolve them immediately.
- Investigate root cause of Overdraft and report to stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Manage and escalate issues related for time sensitive reconciliation breaks.
- Process daily cash flows accurately on a daily basis.
- Process adjustments and FX entries into internal system.
- Handle queries from internal teams and custodians.
- Complete weekly forwards and bank loan reconciliations.
- Reconcile Mutual Fund Holdings on a monthly basis.
- Conduct reconciliation reporting to be delivered to client group on a monthly basis.
- Assist in documenting and process mapping for new and existing procedures.
- Assist in new account onboarding and transitions.

Job Qualifications, Experience, Education
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant discipline that provides an understanding in the financial markets and trade flow.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial instruments and /or process flows.
- Experience working with a team environment with time sensitive deadlines is desired.
- 1-2 years of experience reconciling custody or counter party records

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- The individual will be expected to work as a part of a global team and will need to be able to communicate effectively with various internal and external teams.
- Candidates should have a strong ability to prioritise work and have a sense of urgency for critical issues.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment.
Special Knowledge :
- Corporate Actions / Settlements / Derivative knowledge would be a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Japanese language skills is an advantage
