Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Cosmetic Chemist, based in Roorkee. The Senior Cosmetic Chemist will oversee the formulation and development of cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing research to develop new product formulations, optimizing existing products, conducting stability testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including quality assurance and production to achieve effective results. The role will also involve analyzing market trends to improve formulations and develop innovative, safe, and high-quality products. we are working on soaps, surfactant based products as face wash, hand wash shampoo etc, skin care cream sunscreen serums, hair care products perfume lipstick, nail polish and home care product and lot more

Qualifications: R & D cosmetic chemist needed> very good aptitude for new innovation and research is must for this job

• Proficiency in cosmetic product formulation, raw material selection, and product development
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices, stability testing, and quality assurance protocols
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and guidelines related to cosmetic products
• Problem-solving skills and experience in optimizing existing formulations
• Experience in ingredient research, market trend analysis, and innovation in product development
• Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills
• Advanced degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• Experience in skincare, haircare or personal care product development is highly desirable
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
