Role Summary
Responsible for managing project costs from initial calculations through final figures while maintaining required quality standards. Focuses on minimizing overall expenditure and maximizing value for money across commercial interior fit-out projects. Involves close coordination with project stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met. Requires ongoing monitoring, reporting, and adjustment of cost plans throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Planning and Management: Develop and maintain cost plans for construction projects, ensuring all aspects align with defined financial objectives.
- Contract Administration: Administer and manage construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and BOQ, for various stages of construction projects.
- Tender Analysis: Evaluate and analyze tenders from contractors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to project requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks affecting project costs and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Software Utilization: Use tools such as Auto-CAD, MS-Office, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Procore to support cost management and project control activities.
Must-Have
- Experience:3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the real estate, Interior Fitouts, or industrial / commercial Interior.
- Education: Graduation in B.E Civil with a relevant specialization or an equivalent related degree. (QS Certification course is Plus point)
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data sets and make informed cost-related decisions. BOQ, Estimation etc.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
