Position Summary:
We are seeking a Manager – Quantitative Analytics and Financial Forecasting to support the development, execution, and delivery of quantitative models and advanced analytics solutions across the organization. This role sits within the Data Science and analytics team and focuses on statistical modeling, Machine learning models, forecasting, and automation to support finance, mortgage servicing operations, risk, and capital markets use cases. The role is hands‑on and execution‑oriented, with responsibility for running and enhancing existing models, building new analytical solutions, ensuring data quality, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical outputs into actionable insights.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop forecasting and financial analytics solutions, including cash flow projections, time‑series models, and advanced analytical frameworks.
- Develop and maintain machine learning models and statistical tools for use cases to support finance, mortgage servicing operations, risk, and capital markets.
- Design and implement one-click automation solutions to eliminate manual interventions in forecasting, reporting, and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to identify data-driven opportunities and support automation initiatives.
- Translate business questions into modeling tasks and contribute to the design of experiments and success metrics.
- Create interactive dashboards and self-service visualizations that empower stakeholders with real-time insights.
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and model deployment workflows in partnership with data engineering.
- Support model monitoring, performance tracking, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Contribute to internal best practices and participate in peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay current with developments in machine learning and analytics relevant to mortgage and financial services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum years of experience required: 5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, statistical modeling, or decision science within financial services (or 3+ years of relevant experience post‑PhD).
- Education: Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python and/or R.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of regression, classification, and advanced machine learning techniques.
- Experience with financial analytics, forecasting, or risk modeling preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive communication.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain quantitative concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Prior exposure to mortgage, banking, or financial services analytics is a plus.
