Quality Monitoring and Control
Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY), internal rejections, and rework at the shopfloor level.
Conduct in-process and final inspections according to defined quality criteria.
Support implementation of quality standards, SOPs, and control plans.
Quality Management System (QMS) Support
Assist in maintaining ISO 9001-based QMS documentation.
Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring closure of Non-Conformances (NCs).
Ensure adherence to procedures and maintain accurate quality records on the shopfloor.
Problem Solving and Corrective Actions
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Track customer complaint closure status and verify effectiveness of corrective measures.
Support supplier quality evaluation, incoming inspection, and follow-up on supplier NCRs.
Product and Process Quality Support
Support DFMEA/PFMEA and Control Plan activities for new or modified products.
Ensure quality readiness during trial builds and pilot runs.
Maintain quality KPIs using ERP, Excel, and dashboards to track performance trends.
Reporting and Improvement Initiatives
Prepare reports on rejections, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) elements, and trends.
Highlight deviations and support continuous improvement actions to reduce scrap, rework, and internal rejections.
Collaborate with Production, Stores, and Engineering teams to enhance process discipline and audit compliance.
