What You'll Do
- Lead and execute both manual and automated tests across various platforms (Mobile, API, Web, and Backend).
- Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Perform thorough testing of SIP, VOIP call and message flows, ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work extensively in Linux environments to execute, debug, and monitor test scripts.
- Use test management and defect tracking tools like Jira and TestRail to document and track testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Contribute to and enhance existing test automation frameworks, incorporating tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Engage with cloud platforms and test in cloud-based environments to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify testing gaps, improve test coverage, and optimize test performance.
What You Bring
- 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing
- Hands-on experience with Python for test automation spread across Mobile, API, Web and backend
- Strong understanding of SIP, VOIP call and message flows
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ability to write queries for data validation
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with additional test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
- Experience in API testing and using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or similar
- Experience in Cloud platforms and testing in cloud-based environments
