We are looking for a skilled
Quality Engineer / Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in
Java, Selenium, and API automation using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate should have experience in building robust automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality delivery across web and API applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java & Selenium.
- Automate API test cases using Rest Assured.
- Develop and execute test scripts for UI, API, regression, and functional testing.
- Identify test cases for automation and improve test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to analyze requirements.
- Log defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Perform code reviews of automation scripts and ensure best practices.
- Maintain documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Good experience with API automation using Rest Assured.
- Solid understanding of TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
- Good knowledge of automation frameworks (hybrid, page object model, data-driven frameworks).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automation into pipelines.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, or API tools.
- Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or cloud environments.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
