Job Title:Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Cochin, Kerala (Hybrid/Remote)
Work Timing: 1:30 PM 10:30 PM IST

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team and help improve the quality of our software products. You will work closely with our U.S. clients and collaborate with various departments to ensure that we deliver high-quality applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and automate testing for web applications and APIs.
- Develop and optimize test automation frameworks, adapting to changes as needed.
- Perform manual testing to complement automation efforts and ensure comprehensive quality assurance.
- Lead the testing process by creating testing plans and schedules for projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects in software to ensure quality.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members.
- Conduct system integration tests across different platforms to ensure overall product quality.
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand functionality and develop testing strategies.
- Validate and verify software releases.
- Manage defect lists and provide updates on testing progress and defect status.
- Ensure that test plans are followed and document testing activities.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium or similar tools for web automation.
- Experience with API testing and cloud-based SaaS products.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to perform manual testing effectively alongside automation tasks.
- Ability to work with teams across different time zones.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
- Experience with integrated development environments (like Eclipse).
- Experience with build tools (like ANT or Maven) and version control systems (like Git).
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
