Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain comprehensive test cases for mission critical trading systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts & users to understand requirements and validate test cases
based on the use cases.
- Perform regression testing and user acceptance testing prior to the release.
- Plan and execute performance testing of various components.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using tools like JIRA or similar.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in quality assurance preferably in fintech or investment banking
industry, hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to identify & test edge cases.
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Pytest, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience testing web applications.
