Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Selenium-based test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, automating UI and API testing, performing end-to-end data validation, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based Selenium automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and TestNG.
• Automate REST API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Perform comprehensive data validation using SQL, NoSQL, and JDBC.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and support timely defect resolution.
• Contribute to performance testing initiatives using Gatling or similar tools.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA Automation with strong expertise in Java and Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and database validation.
• Experience in BFSI applications and distributed batch/streaming systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience working in Agile environments.
