Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation using JavaScript, API testing, UI automation, and database validation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern QA practices, system testing, debugging, and quality ownership across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute automated testing using Playwright with JavaScript, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
• Perform API and UI automation, covering test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications, backend services, and integrations.
• Work across system testing, bug lifecycle management, test case creation, and defect reporting.
• Perform database testing with both SQL and NoSQL databases (NoSQL preferred).
• Utilize Linux/Unix commands for debugging, log analysis, and environment validation.
• Identify potential risks, defects, and bottlenecks within applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical issues and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
• Conduct mobile testing when required.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to requirement clarity by asking the right questions.
• Demonstrate ownership, self-motivation, and a strong passion for software testing and automation.
• Think analytically to break the system and uncover complex defects.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of QA automation experience, with at least 4 years in Playwright + JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of API Automation, UI Automation, and modern test frameworks.
• Experience with database testing (SQL + NoSQL).
• Proficient in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership.
