Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS applications and modern automation frameworks (Selenium or Playwright).

This role is critical in a fast-paced, multi-product environment where quality, speed, and execution discipline are closely monitored. You will play a key role in supporting a shift-left QA model, focusing on automation-first testing while also being flexible to handle manual validation when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright (must-have)
  • Execute and validate:
  • Functional tests
  • Regression test suites
  • End-to-end workflows across SaaS applications
  • Actively contribute to a shift-left testing approach, collaborating closely with developers for early defect detection
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test data preparation
  • Execute manual testing for urgent, edge-case, or exploratory scenarios when needed
  • Run, analyze, and debug automated test results, ensuring stability and reliability of test suites
  • Support performance and integration testing efforts as required
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution in build cycles
  • Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
  • Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and automation reliability
  • Work across multiple teams and priorities, handling parallel tasks effectively

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on test automation
  • Hands-on expertise in Selenium or Playwright (mandatory)
  • Experience testing enterprise SaaS applications
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Automation frameworks and scripting (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
  • Test design techniques and QA methodologies
  • API testing and integration validation
  • Experience working in Agile / shift-left environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools
  • Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes, microservices)
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
  • Experience working with distributed teams

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on contributor with a get-it-done mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Focused on results, quality, and continuous improvement
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively across functions
