Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS applications and modern automation frameworks (Selenium or Playwright).
This role is critical in a fast-paced, multi-product environment where quality, speed, and execution discipline are closely monitored. You will play a key role in supporting a shift-left QA model, focusing on automation-first testing while also being flexible to handle manual validation when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright (must-have)
- Execute and validate:
- Functional tests
- Regression test suites
- End-to-end workflows across SaaS applications
- Actively contribute to a shift-left testing approach, collaborating closely with developers for early defect detection
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test data preparation
- Execute manual testing for urgent, edge-case, or exploratory scenarios when needed
- Run, analyze, and debug automated test results, ensuring stability and reliability of test suites
- Support performance and integration testing efforts as required
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution in build cycles
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and automation reliability
- Work across multiple teams and priorities, handling parallel tasks effectively
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on test automation
- Hands-on expertise in Selenium or Playwright (mandatory)
- Experience testing enterprise SaaS applications
- Strong knowledge of:
- Automation frameworks and scripting (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
- Test design techniques and QA methodologies
- API testing and integration validation
- Experience working in Agile / shift-left environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes, microservices)
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience working with distributed teams
