Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill) is essential for designing and executing test cases efficiently.
- Expertise in Selenium (Mandatory skill) to automate web applications and improve test coverage.
- Experience in API Testing to validate RESTful and SOAP services ensuring interoperability and functionality.
- Strong knowledge of Database Testing to verify data integrity and performance across SQL databases.
- Ability to conduct Regression Testing to identify defects in existing functionalities after enhancements.
- Familiarity with Maven for project build automation, dependency management, and efficient deployment.
- Proficient in Jenkins for setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience in using Bug Tracking tools to log, track, and manage software defects efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium to increase test efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Perform thorough API testing to ensure backend service reliability and performance.
- Conduct database testing to validate schema, data integrity, and migrations as needed.
- Implement and monitor continuous testing processes using Maven and Jenkins tools.
- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs using established bug tracking software.
- Participate in regression testing to ensure no negative impact of new code changes on existing functionalities.
- Work closely with team members to troubleshoot and replicate issues for prompt resolution.
