About the Company

WFS and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) are establishing a long-term partnership by establishing a Join Venture (JV) to carry out the development, operation, management and maintenance of the Cargo Terminal 2 and Cold Chain Facility at the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport). The newly established JV entity has commenced operations at BLR Airport from 24 May 2023.

BLR Airport is the 3rd largest cargo hub in India and is strategically well placed to cater to substantial future growth.

WFS is the leading and largest independent cargo handling services company in the world based on revenue and tonnage, handling over 6.8 million metric tons of cargo per year across 165 airport stations in 17 countries on five continents, and serving a diversified blue-chip customer base of approximately 300 commercial airlines, freighter airlines, airport authorities, freight forwarders, integrators and e-commerce players.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager in managing the overall Quality Management System (QMS) for the organization
• Support Quality Manager in efforts to ensure that operational procedures are established, implemented and maintained in compliance with all WFS EMEAA, international and local government/statutory and customer requirements
• Carry out internal audits under the guidance of the Quality Manager, in line with the approved QMS Internal Audit Program and monitor the implementation and completion of corrective and preventive actions
• Support functions to prepare for external and corporate audits and monitor the implementation and completion of corrective and preventive actions
• Support efforts by Quality Manager to fulfil and maintain requirements of various certifications for the organization

Qualifications

Education details : Bachelor's Degree

Experience : Minimum 1- 2 months of experience in quality management system.
