We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Trainee to join our Loan Origination System (LOS) team. The ideal candidate is a fresher with a strong desire to learn, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality. You will work closely with the QA and development teams to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our LOS platform that powers our retail and mortgage loan products.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and functional requirements related to loan origination workflows
- Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and test data
- Execute manual test cases and log defects in defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners) for issue resolution
- Validate bug fixes and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and QA processes
- Suggest improvements in test coverage and automation opportunities (as you grow into the role)
Required Skills And Attributes
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn new banking systems and technology platforms
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL) and web-based applications
- Good communication skills and team player attitude
- Willingness to go the extra mile and contribute beyond defined tasks
