Job Description :
- QlikSense Development: Design, develop, and implement QlikSense applications, dashboards, and reports to support business needs.
- Develop complex visualizations and interactive reports that provide insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Implement data modelling within QlikSense, including QVD generation and optimizing data load scripts.
- Data Integration and ETL: Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate data from various sources (For example, SQL, AWS, Azure, REST APIs, flat files) into QlikSense.
- Develop and manage ETL scripts for data transformation, extraction, and loading within the QlikSense environment.
- Optimize data load processes and ensure efficient performance of QlikSense applications.
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements, ensuring accurate translation into technical specifications.
- Conduct needs analysis and propose effective QlikSense solutions to address business challenges and meet reporting objectives.
- Data Management and Governance: Implement data governance best practices, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across QlikSense applications.
- Ensure data validation, data quality, and performance standards in QlikSense dashboards and reports.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor QlikSense environment performance and troubleshoot issues, optimizing load times and application responsiveness.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and implement best practices for QlikSense development and deployment.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation for QlikSense applications, data models, and processes.
- Train end-users and business stakeholders on using QlikSense applications, enabling self-service analytics.
Job Requirements :
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QlikSense, including data load scripting, visualization, and dashboard design.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management systems (For example, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience in integrating data from various sources, including REST APIs and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data modelling principles, QVD creation, and data management within QlikSense.
- Familiarity with other BI tools (For example, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing performance and data accuracy.
- Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective QlikSense solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, processes, and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data processing.
- Knowledge of QlikSense Server management and QMC (Qlik Management Console) for application deployment.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and QlikSense integration with cloud services (For example, AWS, Azure).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
