Qlik Sense Developers are information technology experts responsible for extracting data from various sources, using the Qlik Sense script editor, designing dashboards, and Developing various Qlik Sense solutions for a company's clients. The person is responsible for handling the following day-to-day activities, which are essential to deliver metrics on a timely basis and ensure their validity to satisfy highly demanding business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and gather business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create Visualizations by translating requirements and finding innovative solutions.
- Create load scripts and QVDs to support dashboards.
- Create incremental loads and Models to support business needs.
- Create Qlik data models in Qlik Sense to support dashboards.
- Optimization for Qlik apps loading Datasets of 100+ million records.
- Lead data discovery, assessment, analysis, modeling, and mapping efforts for Qlik dashboards.
- Created unit test documents and troubleshoot any issues.
- Conduct performance tuning so the Qlik Dashboards meet the acceptable response time threshold.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA staff.
- Good understanding of relational and Dimensional data modeling
- Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using BI tools like Qlik Sense.
- Create paginated reports using Business Objects, Cognos and SSRS Reports
- Hands-on experience working with Custom Dashboards and images to present data in the Dashboard.
