10-12 years of testing experience (with minimum 5-6 years in banking domain)
Responsible for all aspects of the SIT/UAT cycles for assigned projects.
Support existing Karate cucumber api automation testing framework or equivalent new tools.
Conduct hands-on functional & system integration testing; report, track and follow up on issues in a timely manner.
Communication -Should be able to communicate effectively (verbal and email) with business, team members & 3rd party vendors on day-to-day basis.
Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, reports and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow up work to resolve issues.
Work closely with technical & non-technical peers and leads testers act as an integral part of the software development team using iterative development process to promote successful delivery of products and services.
To be able to focus on deadlines and deliverables & ensure the aptitude to discover defects and bugs quickly.
Would be responsible to conduct walkthroughs with Business, development, testing and other stakeholders and get signoffs on the functional specifications.
Would be responsible for conducting application Demos to Business Users.

Provide manager with accurate ad precise estimates for test automation activities, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
Requires strong analytical skills to understand requirements and drive them out where they may have been poorly documented.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Should have good understanding of banking concepts and payment workflows.
Scope Identification- Should be able to work with BA and Business to identify the Testing Scope
Should have experience in API testing.
Test Planning
Should be able to write/contribute detailed Test Plan for all testing services if needed.
Should be able to create detailed Test Scripts and upload into Jira.
Test Execution
Should be able to validate functional specification / requirement.
Perform Positive, Negative functional testing as per the test execution plan.
The testing will cover all the applications spanning the digital projects (Core Banking & Downstream Systems)
Defect Identification & Logging Should understand the defect life cycle, able to raise defects in Jira & follow up on defects.
Reporting should be able to send daily/weekly reports on test execution progress as needed.
Candidate should understand how Agile/ Scrum works.
