Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. QA Engineer with strong expertise in the FAST(Flexible Architecture, Simplified Technology) Policy Administration System. The role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of insurance applications through comprehensive functional, automation, integration, and data validation testing. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to highimpact insurance technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and systemtesting for FAST applications.
- Validate endtoend policy workflows including New Business, Underwriting, Billing, Claims, and Policy Servicing.
- Test FAST configurations, product rules, rating logic, underwriting flows, and STP triggers.
- Verifying billing cycles, suspense account processes, premium applications, and correspondence outputs.
- Understand and validate commission calculations and financial transactions.
- Understand and validate accumulation, payout, annuitization and interest crediting mechanisms.
- Design and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Validate backend data using SQL and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Log, manage, and track defects using JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Understand system builds, code deployment dependencies, and batch processing flows.
Required Skills & Experience
- 48 years of Software Testing / QA experience.
- Handson experience with the FAST Policy Administration System.
- Strong understanding of the insurance policy lifecycle (Life / Annuity).
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing.
- Experience with SQL, API tools (Postman / REST Assured), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr or ServiceNow.
