We are looking for a
Senior QA Automation Engineer in Sustenance to support and enhance the Enterprise TruRisk Platformhelping customers measure, communicate, and eliminate cyber risks. In this role, you will debug customerreported issues, validate fixes, and contribute to automation across microservices and bigdata components to ensure product stability and highquality releases.
Responsibilities
- Debug and troubleshoot customerreported issues across bigdata and microservices environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and work closely with development teams to validate and release fixes.
- Follow established processes to keep all stakeholders informed of ongoing activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and related tools.
- Automate backend workflows including data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processes (Spark, Hadoop).
- Set up and maintain bigdata test environments and Hadoop ecosystem components.
- Build utilities to support deployment teams and improve backend debugging.
- Conduct system, performance, and endtoend workflow testing.
- Review product specifications and write test cases for assigned areas.
- Identify technical issues, dependencies, and propose solutions.
- Reproduce complex production issues to validate fixes.
- Contribute to automation enhancements and promote an automationfirst mindset to reduce manual regression cycles.
Requirements
- 37 years of QA experience with strong handson automation exposure.
- Excellent debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium; Playwright experience is a plus.
- Experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks.
- Handson experience automating backend systems (databases, REST APIs, serverside workflows).
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Good to have: Kubernetes experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic) is a strong advantage.
- Security domain experience is a plus.
