JLL, an international real estate management company, is seeking a Senior QA engineer to join our revenue product Azara organization. We are seeking candidates who are self-starters and can work in a diverse & fast-paced environment that can join our team immediately
Responsibilities
- Strong background in QA testing especially as pertains to data warehousing, UI, business intelligence dashboards and visualizations
- Work independently on regular Azara QA work as well as work related to specific items, incidents, or inquiries within the Azara data and dashboard environment
- Responsible for general understanding of overall platform data and BI architecture in order to effectively test and verify features
- Strong technical understanding of relational database structures and SQL queries
- Able to work with remotely located resources, onshore and offshore
- Communicate clearly with the team on testing outcomes and root causes of issues
- Create or modify test plans and test cases/scripts for execution
- Strong technical understanding of ETL testing concepts
- Responsible for validating data sources, extracting data applications of transformation logic and uploading data in target tables.
- Responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting the client's data storage system before it goes live.

Experience & Education
- Minimum 8 years of technical QA work experience in the fields of computer science, specifically with data warehousing and integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science.
- Proven QA Track Record in a high-volume environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Excellent technical, analytical and organisational skills.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Understanding automated testing best practices.
- Understanding of data warehousing, associated structures and SQL querying
- Understanding of general business intelligence architecture
- Ability to learn new tools and methodologies in this space
- Able to think logically, organise workflows efficiently, and solve problems independently.
- Build and maintain automated testing for React UI components, GraphQL APIs, and Java/Spring Boot services
- Implement CI/CD pipeline testing and quality gates for a data platform
- Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working on ETL automation tools like QuerySurge , Big Eval, DataQ
- Understanding OOPS concepts and hands-on experience
