Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

Identity & Fraud (ID&F) is one of the most vibrant departments of Experian, undergoing the most remarkable Digital Transformation across our product line-up. It is a exciting and important time for ID&F as we begin decomposing several monolithic applications into microservices and deploying them into the cloud.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will identify the testing scope, goals and ensuring test coverage and efficiency. You would need an understanding of the direction the field is taking within the context of Agile teams and DevOps and applied within a business services context.

Within this role you'll help to develop future test strategy as part of a change program working with Senior Engineers.

On a daily basis you will work with the Development teams and technical leads to help to embed the new approaches and best practise within our development teams

Important Responsibilities:

• Maintain UI automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright in C#/Java/JavaScript/Python.
• Develop API automation frameworks using RestSharp/RestAssured.
• Develop API collections using tools like Postman/Bruno or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement and analyze results from performance tests using Apache JMeter (Added Advantage).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git/Jenkins/Bitbucket/AWS
• Apply quality assurance best practices and improve testing strategies.

Required Experience:

• Experience with UI automation using Selenium or Playwright with C#/Java/Python.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation and testing using RestSharp/RestAssured and tools like Postman/Bruno or similar tools.
• Experience with QA methodologies, both manual and automated.
• Experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git/Jenkins/Bitbucket/AWS.
• ISTQB / We prefer ISEB certification or equivalent experience.
• With a continuous improvement mindset.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years of experience in UI automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright in C#/Java/JavaScript/Python.
