We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in WebUI testing, Java programming, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years focused on WebUI automation using Selenium WebDriver. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to validate data center networks, network security, and routing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development, product management, and customer solution engineering teams to validate features and system test profiles.
- Execute test cases for data center networks, security, routing, and switching solutions.
- Validate customer deployment scenarios and document test results on performance, scale, and security.
- Work closely with the development team to debug and troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Develop and integrate end-to-end test automation solutions to streamline validation.
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and propose optimization solutions.
- Review customer deployments and escalate critical customer-found issues.
- Participate in customer deployments and escalations, assisting in real-world deployment scenarios.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of QA experience in Agile/SCRUM teams.
- 3+ years of WebUI automated testing experience using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong Java programming skills (3+ years), with experience in test framework development.
- Experience in containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to develop and publish test reports and solution validation documents.
- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and meet challenging goals.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in networking or telecom domain testing (1+ years).
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware (vCenter, NSX), OpenStack, and KVM.
- Familiarity with Linux OS variants (Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence for test management and documentation.
