Job Description: Salesforce QA Analyst
About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Salesforce QA Analyst with strong functional testing experience across Salesforce clouds and business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating Salesforce configurations, workflows, integrations, and UI functionality while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for Salesforce applications.
- Perform manual functional testing, UI testing, workflow validation, and end-to-end business process testing.
- Conduct data validation, integration testing, and regression testing across Salesforce modules.
- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and ensure complete coverage of lead-to-opportunity, case management, and marketing journey processes.
- Validate business rules, security roles, profile permissions, and sharing settings.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and coordination with business stakeholders.
- Ensure test documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with defined QA standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of work experience in Salesforce.com Projects.
- Should be expertise in Salesforce.com standard functionality and features (Sales, Services and Marketing).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality, including:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- Hands-on experience with manual Salesforce functional testing and UI testing.
- Expertise in validating workflows, automation rules, data integrity, and integrations with external systems.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex Salesforce business processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (preferred)
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of regression testing frameworks and UAT best practices.
- Experience working in distributed teams (offshore/nearshore model).
