About Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 8+ years of expertise in building scalable backend systems and APIs. The role focuses on designing high-performance, secure, and reliable applications using modern Python frameworks such as Django and Flask. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end development, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure best practices across the software development lifecycle in a collaborative Agile environment.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (Django/Flask/Fast API).
- Build and maintain microservices, integrations, and data pipelines as needed.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong unit/integration test coverage.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security; handle production issues and post-mortems.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI engineers, DevOps, and QA in Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Create technical documentation and support release planning.
Expertise You'll Bring
- 8+ years of professional Python development experience with strong problem-solving ability.
- Hands-on experience with Django & Flask (FastAPI is a plus) and building REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and scalable architecture principles.
- Database expertise: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
- Experience with async processing (Celery/RQ), messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Practical exposure to Docker and Kubernetes concepts; familiarity with cloud platforms is preferred.
- Good knowledge of security practices (OWASP), logging/monitoring, and observability.
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
