Job Overview:

We are looking for a Software Developer with strong Python and Django expertise to join our development team at Gamyam. This role requires hands-on coding, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust web applications while upholding best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using Python.

Take ownership of modules/features from design through deployment.

Collaborate with cross functional team to design, develop and implement new features.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code by following industry best practices.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.

Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve code quality.

Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

Work with CI/CD processes and deployment workflows.

Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Technical Skills:

5+ years of hands-on- experience in Python development.

Strong experience with any Python-based web frameworks (e.g.., Django, Flask , Fast API or others).

Solid understanding of REST API design principles.

Good knowledge of relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Experience with version control systems (Git).

Basic understanding of application security best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
