Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, database-driven web applications using Python APIs. The role involves backend architecture, module ownership, integrations, and team mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalablePython-based APIs (FastAPI/Django)

• Own backend modules end-to-end includingdesign, development, integration, and deployment

• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance

• Participate incustomer discussions,requirement analysis,and backend solution design

• Handle backend deployments, environment setup, and API integrations

• Write and maintain unit and integration test scripts for backend services

• Ensure effectiveGit repository managementand version control practices

• Work withinAgile/Scrummethodologies and SDLC processes

Must Have Skills

• 6-10 years of overall IT experience in software development

• Recent 2-3 years strong hands-on experience in:

Python API development (e.g., FastAPI/Django)

Database design and programming (MS SQL, PostgreSQL or similar)

• Strong experience in database-centric web applications

• Proven experience inteam mentoring and technical leadership

• Hands-on experience with code integration and module orchestration

Nice to Have Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML-based applications

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Basic knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification

Experience :

6-10 years of overall IT experience in software development
