Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Doddaballapur, Bangalore location. This is an on-site role responsible for overseeing procurement processes, supplier management, and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services essential to our operations. The Senior Purchasing Manager will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to budgets. Additional responsibilities include negotiating supplier agreements, tracking market trends, and identifying opportunities to optimize supply chain processes.

Experience

Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Manufacturing / FMCG / wine or alcoholic beverage industry is must.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation in the wine or alcoholic beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and cost efficiency strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship management skills.
• Data analysis, problem-solving, and budget management expertise.
• Ability to work on-site in Doddaballapur, Bangalore and travel as necessary for vendor or supplier engagements.
• Masters / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; any additional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and sustainability practices in procurement is an advantage.
• Prior experience with handling procurement for agricultural or raw materials for winemaking is preferred.
