Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and media-savvy PR to support the planning and execution of our public relations efforts. This role involves media relations, content creation, and day-to-day coordination of PR activities to enhance brand visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and a keen understanding of the media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations
- Build and maintain a strong media network across print, digital, and electronic platforms.
- Coordinate media outreach, follow-ups, and ensure regular coverage for the brand.
- Assist in drafting press releases, media notes, and interview briefs.
- Track media opportunities and pitch story ideas to relevant journalists.
Content Creation
- Develop engaging and on-brand content such as press releases, articles, FAQs, and event briefs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and craft relevant communication material.
- Support the development of presentations and speaking points for company representatives.
Campaign & Event Support
- Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, media events, product launches, and press conferences.
- Coordinate logistics with media and event agencies.
- Ensure smooth execution and timely media coverage of events and campaigns.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor media coverage and create daily/weekly/monthly media reports.
- Analyze coverage for reach, tone, and alignment with key messaging.
- Maintain PR documentation and media clippings database.
Crisis Communication Support
- Support the PR team during crisis situations by drafting statements and monitoring sentiment.
- Help manage response timelines and media coordination.
