Roles & Responsibilities
1. Proposal Creation
- Study customer enquiries and tender documents.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals for ESP and Bag Filters.
- Submit bids for government tenders.
- Attend technical evaluation meetings with clients.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed costings for proposals.
- Follow up with customers on submitted proposals.
- Prepare sketches, BOM, and weight calculations based on customer needs.
- Create zero-based costings and submit proposals on time.
- Help achieve sales targets for order booking.
- Provide accurate order projections and analyze lost orders with improvement plans.
- Contribute to developing Annual Business Plans (ABP) and Strategic Business Plans (SBP).
- Manage proposal and enquiry processes from lead generation to order closure.
- Develop relationships with vendors and agents.
- Support business development and promotion strategies.
- Build a database of case studies, customer testimonials, and drawings.
2. Order Conversion
- Attend sales meetings to gather feedback from the sales team.
- Handle LOIs, POs, and contracts.
- Prepare order acknowledgments and ODS.
- Analyze reasons for lost orders.
- Organize internal kick-off meetings for project execution teams.
- Attend client kick-off meetings as needed.
- Assist project teams in ensuring timely delivery of materials.
3. Vendor Management (Competitors ESP Non TL)
- Work with the sales team to identify and evaluate new vendors.
- Explore vendor options in various regions.
- Assess the performance of existing vendors.
- Map competitors vendor networks.
4. Internal Support
- Support the process engineering team with orders.
- Assist the purchase team with vendor registration and backups during execution.
- Standardize enquiry formats and costing templates for both TL and Non-TL items.
- Maintain a database of Non-TL drawings by make and model.
