JOB DESCRIPTION
The Retail Project Lead will lead end-to-end execution of Livspace's physical retail projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of stores. The role bridges design intent and on-ground execution, managing multiple stakeholders across design, vendors, landlords, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Execution and Project Management:
- Own end-to-end execution of retail projects from concept approval to store handover
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per brand standards
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Track milestones and proactively mitigate risks and delays
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with Design, Category, Procurement, Supply Chain, Retail Operations,
- Finance, and Legal
- Coordinate approvals, drawings, BOQs, and vendor onboarding
- Act as a single point of accountability across stakeholders
- Vendor & Partner Management:
- Manage contractors, vendors, fabricators, electricians, carpenters, and installers
- Evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, timelines, and compliance
- Negotiate commercials and manage work orders and closures
- Quality, Compliance & Brand Standards
- Ensure execution as per Livspace design language, customer experience standards, and
- safety norms
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, mall guidelines, and statutory requirements

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 12 + years of experience in retail Interior Fit Out- Design & Execution
- Demonstrated experience in scaling a retail business, including the successful launch of multiple new stores across different geographies.
- Strong understanding of project management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the home improvement or a related sector is a plus.
- Strong leadership and people skills.
