Your impact
In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
Senior Project Manager is responsible for
Issue, Update and maintain Project Procedures Manual and Project Execution Plan
Incorporate Project Controls and Quality Plan into PEP
Designated channel for all communications
Provide leadership to the project team and Maintain client / project team alignment
Execute project scope according to PEP
Timely completion of designs, requisitions and engineering deliverables.
Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.
Overview of work progress and work-hour usage.
Working within company budgets. Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Attend to client's feedback and any complaints. Review technical requirements of client's specifications and ensure that agreement is reached on the Basis of design. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary. Investigate, analyze and implement systems, and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy
Issue a Change Management Procedure tailored to size and complexity of Project
Ensure project deliverables meet quality and schedule
Conduct Project Coordination Meetings. Keep management informed of new or emerging risks. Project cash flow management. Supports and participates in Client Survey
Supports Project Quality Audits. Ensures timely completion of preventive and corrective actions in Performance Improvement Notes. Issue close out reports for project
Maintain contact with other disciplines/groups to ensure. Lead Engineer and designer are aware of problems of progress delays. Proper interchange of information.
Proper interchange of documents. Interface is correctly defined. Ensure that site problems viz. Technical Queries and Non-conformity Notices are dealt with effectively and expeditiously and also ensure competent staffs are available for site trouble shooting as necessary. Attend Design Engineering Management Review Meetings. Furnish administrative and technical directives to discipline personnel.
Here's what you'll need
A degree in any engineering discipline preferably Process/ Mechanical Engineering Discipline with 15 to 20 years of experience in Design Engineering
