Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, enterprise-scale, multi-channel commerce implementation spanning Magento / Adobe Commerce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Store Commerce POS, a Call-Centre SPA, and React Native mobile applications.
This role demands strong delivery leadership, deep command of Agile/Scrum within a fixed-price commercial envelope, and the ability to govern a senior-weighted, AI-accelerated team running multiple parallel workstreams. You will protect scope, budget, timeline, and the delivery assumptions on which the estimate depends.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage the full project lifecycle including discovery, architecture, parallel-stream build, integration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
- Define scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgets; build and maintain the integrated delivery plan.
- Run phase gates and exit criteria including architecture sign-off, feature-complete reviews, UAT readiness, and go-live approval.
- Own go-live cutover planning and hypercare/stabilization activities.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary client point of contact and lead weekly governance meetings and executive reporting.
- Manage client expectations, dependency tracking, and external-vendor coordination including ERP partners, payment providers, logistics providers, and tax-authority integrations.
- Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders across multiple regions.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead cross-functional, distributed teams including Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, QA/SDET Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts.
- Coordinate multiple parallel workstreams while managing resource allocation and delivery dependencies.
- Safeguard the planned staffing model and proactively address risks that could impact delivery commitments.
Agile & Delivery Governance
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure sprint goals, release plans, and delivery commitments are achieved.
- Track delivery metrics, team velocity, and AI-assisted productivity initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards and definition-of-done requirements.
Risk, Change & Financial Management
- Maintain RAID logs and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage change requests through a structured impact-assessment and approval process.
- Own project profitability, milestone billing, resource utilization, and budget tracking within the agreed commercial framework.
- Monitor vendor dependencies and compliance-related activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project charters, delivery plans, dashboards, status reports, governance artifacts, and closure documentation.
- Provide executive-level summaries, delivery-readiness assessments, and leadership updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of project health, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Project Management experience with a strong software development and eCommerce delivery background.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale B2B/B2C eCommerce and ERP integration programs for global clients.
- Strong understanding of Magento / Adobe Commerce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / BC), and ERP-to-commerce integration ecosystems.
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Hybrid SDLC, and fixed-price delivery models.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, distributed teams, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Hands-on experience with project and delivery management tools such as Jira, Azure Boards, ClickUp, Confluence, MS Project, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong project financial management, planning, estimation, and governance capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing regulated or compliance-sensitive implementations.
- Multi-region and multi-vendor stakeholder management experience.
- Experience with phased rollouts, multi-country deployments, and parallel-stream delivery programs.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications.
