Role Summary
The Senior Manager Projects will be responsible for the overall leadership, planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. The role requires strong strategic oversight, stakeholder management, financial control, and team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all project activities across multiple locations and portfolios
- Define project governance, standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and closure
- Ensure adherence to scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability
- Build, Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, productivity, and efficiency
- Prepare and present project performance reports to the Management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / master's in project management
- 10+ years of experience in project execution, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and risk management
- Experience in automation / EPC / infrastructure / industrial projects
- PMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage
