Role Overview
The Audit Strategy & Governance Manager will serve as the strategic architect for AIT's planning, governance, and executive reporting mechanisms. This role owns the development and execution of multi-year strategic planning (3YP), annual operating plans (OP1/OP2), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and director-level deep-dive analyses. The position drives organizational excellence through standardized mechanisms, automation, and innovation across the AIT organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Governance
- Lead the development and execution of AIT's 3-Year Plan (3YP), OP1, and OP2 planning cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder commitments
- Own the quarterly business review (QBR) process, delivering executive-ready narratives that connect operational metrics to strategic outcomes
- Design and maintain standardized governance mechanisms across AIT programs, ensuring consistency in planning, reporting, and decision-making frameworks
- Partner with leadership to define and refine kingpin goals, establishing clear measurement frameworks and success criteria
Executive Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain executive-level reporting infrastructure that provides VP and Director-level visibility into key performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and program health
- Prepare concise, high-judgment narratives and recommendations for senior leadership reviews, translating complex operational data into actionable insights
- Conduct director-level deep-dive analyses on critical business questions, identifying root causes and recommending data-backed solutions
- Develop measurement frameworks and KPIs to track audit effectiveness, ROI, and stakeholder influence
Automation & Innovation
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting automation pipelines to establish one source of truth for AIT reporting
- Partner with technical teams to streamline data collection, automate reporting processes, and eliminate manual overhead
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that leverage technology and innovation to scale governance mechanisms
- Identify opportunities to standardize and automate cross-functional reporting and planning processes
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Analytics, Policy, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to align goals and ensure effective communication
- Support teams in navigating ambiguous situations with clear, data-backed judgment and strategic guidance
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans
- Ensure transparency and alignment across all organizational levels through effective communication of progress, risks, and performance metrics

The Audit Strategy & Governance Manager will work closely with AIT leadership, program managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the organization operates with strategic clarity, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 5+ years of data visualization and reports tools experience
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience establishing processes, workflows, standard procedures and change management
