About Role

At NxtWave, as a Senior Program Manager Assessments, you will take complete ownership of assessment design, execution, integrity, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring that assessments accurately measure student capabilities, reflect industry expectations, and scale reliably across all programs.

This role requires strong program management skills, an analytical mindset, collaboration with SMEs and product teams, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment Design & Execution:

  • End-to-end ownership of assessment design, student evaluation, and feedback implementation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to refine assessment frameworks, blueprints, and interview processes.
  • Maintain high standards of reliability, validity, and fairness across assessments.

Quality Assurance & Integrity:

  • Continuously audit completed assessments to detect malpractice or anomalies. Also, automate the audit process by working with the product team.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to prevent cheating and uphold assessment authenticity.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of questions asked in company assessments and interviews, with detailed tagging.

Feedback Management & Improvement:

  • Collect structured feedback from companies on candidate performance and propagate it to internal teams.
  • Work closely with SMEs to identify gaps in the assessment process and drive improvements.
  • Coordinate with the product team to implement fixes, enhancements, and new assessment features.

Interviewer & Evaluation Management:

  • Onboard, train, and manage interviewers responsible for evaluating shortlisted candidates.
  • Standardize the interview process and ensure high-quality, unbiased, and consistent candidate assessments.
  • Build scalable systems for interviewer performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Skills:

Required

  • 26 years of experience in program management, assessment design, evaluation systems, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of assessment frameworks, question design, and evaluation mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs, product teams, and operational teams.
  • Ability to build scalable processes and drive end-to-end ownership.

Preferred

  • Experience in EdTech, hiring assessment platforms, or talent evaluation programs.
  • Exposure to technical hiring, coding assessments, or interview process design.
