We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Coordinator to oversee the Viksit Bharat Fellowship program, among other responsibilities. This role involves managing the fellowship's operations, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and providing editorial and logistical support to fellows, mentors and speakers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program coordination and management and a passion for India's development narrative.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination:
- Assist in the execution and evaluation of the Viksit Bharat Fellowship program.
- Coordinate the application process, including outreach, selection, and onboarding of fellows.
- Manage the fellowship timeline to ensure all milestones are met, including application deadlines and deliverable submissions.
- Facilitate communication between fellows, mentors, and the foundation's leadership.
- Website requirements and development management, subscriptions, account management, development of curriculum, and post-fellowship programs and activities.
Editorial Oversight:
- Provide content editorial guidance and support to fellows in developing their deliverables, including content reviews of books, articles, case studies, and research papers.
- Review, format, perform reference checks and edit submissions to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with the fellowship's objectives.
- Collaborate with fellows to refine their narratives and enhance the quality of their work.
Mentorship and Support:
- Organise and facilitate mentorship sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities for fellows.
- Act as a point of contact for peers and fellows, addressing their queries and providing necessary support throughout the fellowship.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track fellows progress and deliverables, providing regular updates to the foundation's leadership.
- Prepare reports on the fellowship's impact, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in program coordination, in academia, publishing or a similar field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in using MS Office and related software for presentation, reports, and documentation, and publishing of collaterals
- Strong editorial skills with a proven track record of writing and editing high-quality content.
- Excellent organisational and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
