Role Description The Senior Program Advisor will work on-site in Noida in a full-time capacity, guiding prospective students through the process of selecting suitable online and distance degree programs. This role involves conducting detailed consultations (in person and over phone/video), assessing academic backgrounds and career goals, and recommending programs from approved universities that align with each learner's objectives. The Senior Program Advisor will explain program structures, eligibility criteria, fees, and accreditation status clearly and honestly, ensuring students understand the full picture before enrolling. The role includes maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, following up with leads, and supporting students from initial inquiry through application and admission. The Senior Program Advisor will also collaborate with internal teams to refine counseling processes, contribute insights on student needs, and help improve overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong advisory and counseling skills, with experience guiding students or working professionals on education or career decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information in clear, simple language.
- Proven ability in relationship management, lead follow-up, and maintaining detailed records using CRM or similar tools.
- Good understanding of higher education systems, preferably online and distance learning, UGC/NAAC guidelines, and university program structures.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess student profiles and recommend suitable programs based on goals and constraints.
- High standards of integrity, transparency, and student-first ethics, with a commitment to non-pressure, honest guidance.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage a full-time schedule, and handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, management, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, education consulting, edtech, or admissions is highly preferred.
- Comfort with using digital tools, office productivity software, and communication platforms for student interactions.
