About The Team

The Institutional Buy Side is responsible for developing and marketing industry-leading tools for portfolio management, quantitative research, risk, performance & attribution, and execution management across the investment lifecycle. Our clients include the world's largest asset managers, asset owners, and insurance companies.

The Services organization is focused on evolving FactSet's global service delivery model by streamlining operational workflows and enhancing data quality, transparency, and efficiency. This includes key service tools such as Portfolio Reconciliation Utility, Portfolio Health, Lifecycle Dashboards, and Portfolio Services Dashboardstools that underpin FactSet's growing Managed Services and Portfolio Services business.

The Services Product Management team is driving the evolution of our workflow and process monitoring tools. These products ensure transparency into the processing of data into FactSet, validating and ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and outputting the results in presentation ready format.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Specialist with strong interpersonal skills, a thirst for knowledge and the capacity to implement strategic improvements that will continue to grow the Buy-Side Services product suite at an accelerated rate.

This role will have the responsibility of driving product development and influence product strategy as the team builds out the product offering to support performance, reporting and risk workflows.

This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in the growth and success of our Buy-Side Services, making a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients operations.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and operations to foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactively enhance our offerings.
  • Become the SME of Services products and driving the evolution of the products into a seamless experience for our users
  • Work directly with clients and internal teams to identify areas for improvement and execute a vision for product success in both the short and long term.
  • Contribute to the creation of requirements and specifications for tools and workflow improvements, enabling our support teams to meet the demands of accelerated client growth.
  • Manage internal documentation utilized by various departments for product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with engineers to fix bugs, test enhancements, and manage releases and client migrations.
  • Assist with queries and bugs to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Work within an Agile environment focused on frequent continuous releases and increased transparency with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and bring them to completion.
  • Background in Product Development, Application Design, or a similar role is a plus.
