Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep experience in fleet management software / mobility SaaS platforms to lead the development of Spiro's next-generation EV fleet management system.

You will own end-to-end product strategy and execution for platforms managing vehicle tracking, driver operations, battery lifecycle, telematics, and fleet optimization, similar to solutions built by companies like Motive, Samsara, or other fleet-tech providers.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong product thinking, technical acumen, and domain expertise in logistics, telematics, or mobility platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Spiro's fleet management platform
• Build scalable solutions for EV fleet operations, tracking, optimization, and analytics
• Identify opportunities in battery management, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization
• Benchmark against industry leaders (e.g., Motive, Samsara, Geotab)

Product Development & Execution

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery → design → development → launch → iteration
• Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality SaaS products
• Translate business needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and feature specifications
• Drive agile product development cycles and ensure timely delivery

Fleet & Telematics Integration

• Build and scale features around:
• GPS tracking & route optimization
• Driver behavior analytics
• Battery health & charging lifecycle
• IoT/telematics integrations
• Fleet utilization dashboards
• Integrate data from hardware devices, IoT sensors, and third-party APIs

Data & Analytics

• Develop data-driven insights for fleet performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
• Define KPIs and success metrics for product features
• Work with data teams to enable real-time analytics and reporting

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, growth, engineering)
• Engage with enterprise customers to gather feedback and validate solutions
• Align product strategies with business goals and market demands

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in SaaS, mobility, logistics, or fleet-tech companies
• Proven experience building or scaling fleet management platforms / telematics software
• Strong domain knowledge in:
• Fleet operations / logistics tech
• GPS tracking systems
• IoT / telematics platforms
• Experience working in companies similar to:
• Motive (KeepTruckin), Samsara, Geotab
• Fleet management / logistics SaaS companies

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of:
• APIs, microservices architecture
• IoT data pipelines and integrations
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and BI tools
• Familiarity with EV ecosystem (charging, battery systems) is a strong plus
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams on scalable system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EV mobility / battery swapping ecosystems
• Prior exposure to emerging markets logistics challenges
• MBA or equivalent business qualification
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments
