The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in the design, development, and iteration of our warehouse automation products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to create world-class warehouse automation systems that meet our customers needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, has hands-on experience building products, and can translate technical innovations into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype solutions for warehouse automation, from concept to development to ensure value is being generated for the customers
- High ownership for the product and the customer's success
- Collaborate with software, hardware engineering and solution teams to translate customer needs into innovative product features, and integrate solutions seamlessly into warehouse environments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, vendors, etc.) to develop and execute product roadmaps - being the owner of the product roadmap and driving product backlogs
- Own the pricing, P&L, business, and customer performance metrics of the product.
- Lead the development of product specifications, testing protocols, and performance metrics.
- Provide technical expertise during customer demonstrations and support pre-sales efforts as needed
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in robotics, automation, and robots/hardware manufacturing to continuously improve product design/performance, and build a robust portfolio of warehouse automation solutions
- Solve complex, ambiguous problems creatively and efficiently, turning challenges into opportunities.
- Develop business cases and strategic plans for launching new, disruptive products.
- Engage with customers, industry experts, and thought leaders to gather insights and validate concepts.
- Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape and identify gaps where first-mover opportunities exist.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product development, ideally in automation / supply chain / warehouse systems..
- Proven experience in building products from the ground up (0-1, and scaling it to 100), including rapid prototyping and iteration.
- Experience in startup environments or innovation labs; ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Understanding of robotics systems, complex IOT/IIOT is preferred OR end-to-end delivery of enterprise SaaS products
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
- Exceptional analytical and creative thinking skills with the ability to balance visionary ideas with practical execution
