Job Purpose:
As the Senior Product Manager Affluent Credit Cards, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and growing our premium and affluent credit card portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the affluent customer mindset, lifestyle aspirations, and spending behaviours, combined with strong business acumen to deliver portfolio profitability, customer delight, and brand differentiation.
You will play a key role in shaping the strategy, value proposition, and customer experience of IDFC FIRST Bank's affluent card products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end management of the affluent credit card portfolio including product performance, revenue drivers, and cost optimization.
- Own the P&L, ensuring profitable growth through disciplined acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Regularly analyze portfolio metrics such as spend velocity, activation, revolve, utilization, and credit cost to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and manage affluent card propositions tailored to high-income and HNI segments.
- Create differentiated product experiences across travel, lifestyle, and financial benefits aligned to customer aspirations.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance product CVPs and design bespoke privileges.
- Leverage data and market insights to understand affluent customer needs, spending behaviour and expectations.
- Work closely with customer experience, marketing, and analytics teams to enhance engagement and reduce attrition.
- Champion customer-first design in all product, process, and communication journeys.
- Drive product launches, campaigns, and lifecycle programs in collaboration with marketing, digital, and distribution teams.
- Support frontline teams with tools, training, and communication to position the affluent portfolio effectively.
- Monitor acquisition funnels, onboarding experience, and first-90-day activation KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Digital, Operations, Analytics, CX, Risk, Liabilities, Marketing) for end-to-end product delivery.
- Liaise with network partners, merchant aggregators, and benefit vendors to deliver superior value propositions.
- Track competitive landscape and emerging trends across premium card categories.
- Recommend enhancements to card features, reward programs, and customer journeys based on insights and feedback.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor's in Engineering / Technology / Management/ Computers/Science.
Post-graduation: MBA.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in product management, ideally within credit cards, payments, or retail banking of affluent customer segments, premium credit card propositions, and portfolio economics.
